instantiate GR5 you should get the same message as aforementioned in step 4 make up a preset with one of the classic comps save then save your project then reopen your dawĨ. close guitar rig 5 and fire up your daw.ħ. Close then reopen guitar rig 5 you should get a message indicating that there are twoe instances open and database preset changes can not be saved.Ħ. replace the database files in library/Applications support/Native instruments/Guitar rig 5/Databass with the files from SHBAMAC'S tutorial HERE:ġ) Go to HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Guitar Rig 5/Demo DB and copy those 3 files.Ģ) Go to HD/Users/Username/Library/Native Instruments/Guitar Rig 5/Database and overwrite the 3 files there with the ones you copied.Ĥ. Activate the demo content in standalone.ģ. Make sure you have replaced the install with the (K) in the native instruments folder located in your Applications folder and there are no other copies floating around.Ģ. Here is the fix guys you won't have the new presets but at least you will have the vintage stuff working in your daw.ġ.
